  • The initial costs for starting an UpCharge franchise include station costs (base station, touch screen, payment terminal, and power banks) and any shipping expenses. Monthly fees include a 15% franchising fee, 3 € technical maintenance fee per station, and a 0.25 € payment processing fee per transaction.

  • As a franchisee, you'll receive 24/7 help and support, access to tools for internal use, customer support, technical maintenance, and continuous R&D. UpCharge is committed to providing ongoing assistance, from technical questions to operational guidance.

  • Franchisees receive around 80% of the net revenue generated by their stations. The actual revenue depends on factors such as the number of stations, the locations, and the level of customer engagement.

    For example :

    Let’s say you have a 1000 stations, generating 1 rent per station every day. If the average rental revenue is 3 € you can expect to generate 1 080 € annually per station. Of this UpCharge takes a flat 15% fee + 0,25 € per rent for payment processing + 3 € / month per station in maintenance fees. Thus after fees a station would generate 852 € annually after fees.

  • Franchisees are responsible for adding new venues to the network, representing UpCharge in their geographic area, maintaining stations in case of emergency, and financing the purchasing of stations.
