UpCharge going live in Helsinki during Autumn 2021

For an average phone UpCharge would charge 50% battery within an hour.

First 30 minutes of use are free. After that we charge 1 € for every hour of use. Hourly charges are capped at a daily fee of 10 €. If you don’t return the power bank within 4 days of renting the power bank will be viewed as purchased, thus you will be charged for the 4 days of renting and a maximum purchase fee of 25 euros. Prices include VAT 24%.

You can return the power banks to any of our locations, no matter where you initially rented it. 

Find an UpCharge device and insert your powerbank in an empty slot. When returning the powerbank, please make sure to wait for the red light to turn on 🔴. It takes around a minute for the app to update.

UpCharge is launching in Helsinki, Finland during autumn of 2021. We are trying to open up in new locations as fast as we can. Subscribe to our newsletter to know when we come to yours!

Behind UpCharge is a young, motivated and dedicated team full of ambition and love for the customers. 

We use Stripe to process our payments. Right now we accept debit and credit cards, also Apple Pay and Google Pay.

You can find UpCharge stations using the map in our app. The stations are located in bars, restaurants, night clubs and other locations.
